How could Edmund Burke's quote link to the Ten Commandments and the Beaitutudes?
EvieB & Callum
11:42
The commandments tell you the right thing to do and so does the quote.
Jake & Niamh B
11:42
It could link to the Ten Commandments being faithful is an important commandment and if evil wins it is breaking that commandment. It could link to the beatitudes because it was blessed and it came from Jesus.
Will & Lucy
11:42
The Ten Commandments can make us act because if we have freedom and don’t use it responsibly then you will not be following in Gods way.
Scarlett & Oliver B
11:42
Edmund Burke's quote links to the Ten Commandments and the beatitudes because they are both similar in a way because they both give helpful paths to follow
Frank and Lewis
11:42
the Ten Commandments can make you strong and not be weak
OliverC and Michael
11:43
His quote links to the ten commandments and the beatitudes because one of the commandments is to worship no god but me.
Jonah & Olivia
11:43
The quote could link because the some of the Ten Commandments are do not accuse anyone falsely and you coluld be doing that also one of the Ten Commandments are Do not be greedy and want what others own. The beatitudes could link because you need to use them when the evil does wrong. You need  freedom and responsibility  to do the Bottom line is that the good men do nothing.
Lucas and Jacob
11:43
It links with the quote by making you respect other people , so that they could forgive each other.
Tom G and Kate
11:44
Well the beatitudes and commandments tell you to do good and so does Edmund Burke’s quote.
Gracie & Niamh J
11:44
The Ten Commandments can help you act when you need them and they link to Edmund Burke’s quote because in the Ten Commandments by respecting and being kind not just to the people you know but to respect and be kind to those who  have done bad and good and in the beatitudes it says be righteous and in the quote it can link to righteous not just evil and good.
Grace & Ethan
11:44
Because the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes say blessed are the merciful and do not be unfaithful and when good people stand down evil is triumphant.
Billy and Freya
11:45
The Ten Commandments link to the saying that Edmund Burke said because in the 10 commandments it said don’t be unfaithful
EvieB & Callum
11:45
Do not kill because the quote says do no evil and if you kill it’s evil
Jonah & Olivia
11:45
One of the beatitudes that it could link to is blessed are the peacemakers because they could stop the evil so that they could be the right men.
Evie O & Meda
11:46
The quote links to the Ten Commandments because one of the rules says ‘Do not be greedy and want what others own’, this links because if you see someone being mean to someone they might be doing that because they want what the other person has. The quote also links to a Beatitude which is ‘Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God’ because if you’re being kind, you are a peacemaker.
