It's nearly impossible for me to ever not choose my guy Nestor
11:46
Unless you put him up against my other guy Ranger lol
I'd be forced to cut the baby in half

Profar. Your opinion.
Nicklaus Gaut
11:47
Oh perfect, I've been looking for a reason to give this public service announcement:
11:48
Jurrickson Profar has been a top-12 fantasy hitter/as valuable as Aaron Judge
hilarious
11:49
He'll obviously regress back in power/counting stats but the guy tends to always return sneaky solid production when given a full-time role and I expect that will continue

I need a replacement 2B.  What are your thoughts about Joey Ortiz?  I think I could acquire him via trade.  What do you think the return should be?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:49
Joey Ortiz is apparently today's main character
11:50
I'm a big fan but I'd be all about trying to low ball for him
When Seal?
11:50
Hi Nick - Is Wenceel Perez a stable add or just a May fad destined to swoon along with those May flowers?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:50
Stable says me!
11:51
to be fair, I picked him up on like three teams as a much-need fill-in for Yoshida so take my advice with a big grain of bias
Apples and oranges
11:52
I realize this is a werid question, comparing a pitcher with a hitter, but who has the higher upside: Simeon Woods Richardson or Lawrence Butler?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:52
Not weird at all!
11:53
Butler has the most fantasy upside for me given the always alluring scent of a 20/20 profile.
Plus SWR just hasn't shown the whiffs you need to really burst your fantasy ceiling
Kirilloff
11:54
Should I give up on him? His prospect predictions were that he'd hit for a high average with moderate power. Sort of the opposite is happening right now.
Nicklaus Gaut
11:55
Still some juice there - dude just isn't a .200 hitter. But he also isn't the .270 hitter he was last year. Too much BABIP luck last year, and not enough this year.
11:56
Talent wise he's a .250ish guy with 20+ power
Trade
11:56
Gotta trade one of Byron Buxton or Dom Canzone, both of whom are coming off the IL. Who gets the short straw—the up-and-coming power hitter or the aging, often-injured superstar?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:56
If all else fails, trade the sack of broken ligaments that is Byron Buxton's body
Ferris
11:56
Bees?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:57
NOT THE BEES!!!!!!

Thoughts on Dean Kremer
Nicklaus Gaut
11:58
He's still about what he's been - a 4ish ERA guy who can shine in selective starts but occasionally gets rocked
And he's striking out guys a little over his head currently

Is A. Diaz worth holding at this point?
Nicklaus Gaut
12:00
He is as long as he has the job - but that might not be for very long
Julio Acuna The First
12:01
Julio & Acuna are a combined five HRs & 25 RBIs. What is going on here?
Nicklaus Gaut
12:01
Baseball!
Seriously, it's a maddening sport
But also, what the hell?
I've never been so happy to not get the #1 draft pick
Do the Bear Cub
12:02
Is Cade Horton worth a stash in Fantasy leagues?
Nicklaus Gaut
12:03
Good stash but it might still be a few minutes until he gets called. Stuff is really good (and deep) but dipping velocity this year isn't terrific to see
Southern Lion
12:04
Who do you think the Yanks call up first, Will Warren or Spencer Jones?
Nicklaus Gaut
12:05
I'll say Warren because Jones is just so whiffable right now
Austin Riley
12:06
When do I come back and will I be better than my start has indicated?
