Pittsburgh cf 2b mix. Who is gonna get the lions share at those 2 positions this week? ROS?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:14
Bart for both
Comparables?
11:14
Who would you rather have the rest of the season M. Busch or J. Miranda?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:15
Busch but their contribution profiles are going to be very different - Miranda's fantasy value is more of a "sum greater than parts" while Busch's is of the "ride out the garbage for the flurry of counting stats"

Coby Mayo, non-dynasty 12 team 6x6 cat redraft league, I think I need to drop?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:17
Nope. Maybe later if he comes out sour but now that he's up you gotta keep to see if any sparks catch
The Butler did it!
11:18
How confident are you in Lawrence Butler for the rest of the season, was the last month a fantasy mirage?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:19
I lean mirage but he certainly made me look dumb in July
11:20
But also, this is what he did in his 150 PA prior: .179/.260/.269, 31% K%

What are your thoughts on Nootbaar? I’ve always liked his potential and underlying metrics but its a bummer his surface level stats have been so mediocre. How would you rank Nootbaar, J Wood, M Toglia, T Pham, and V Robles?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:20
Still hurt is my guess
Toglia > Robles > Wood > Pham > Nootbaar
11:21
I'm also so scared of saying anything remotely critical of Tommy Pham since we again live in the same area code
Crochet me a sweater
11:21
Would you consider dealing Crochet for a larger need this year in a dynasty league?  I don't intend to keep him (I have Glasnow, Cease, J. Jones and possibly Kirby tabbed) and could use another closer and/or another impact bat.  Or should I just keep him over the others listed above?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:22
As a general rule, I'm always willing to trade a big pitching asset in a "win-now" move. Just make sure the return you get is centered around the impact bat, not the closer help
The Thompsons
11:23
Is R. Thompson worth looking at for saves with the recent developements in Arizona?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:23
He'll get some but Arizona is closer-roulette for the time being and I'm not sure a pattern (or alpha) will emerge any time soon.
Tuckered Out
11:23
Have a chance to get Kyle Tucker ROS in al only for a small keeper. Worth it or will he never play again?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:25
I think the best-case is late August but feel like September is more likely. Sure, it might be 'worth it' if you're giving up very little but I think his realistic ROS production should be heavily tempered.

Nicklaus, I need to drop 2 of these SP's to get more hitting. Please order these guys in value for the ROS: Pivetta, Eflin, Fedde, Springs, Ryan and Tr. Rogers. Your chats have been most valuable for me this season, Thanks!
Nicklaus Gaut
11:27
Ryan > Eflin > Pivetta > Springs > Fedde > Rogers
And you're welcome!

N.(akaNoShow) Jones. Will this Rockie ever be relevant? Opinion of S.Horwitch? Patiently awaiting Casas however I am starting to deem Triston a health risk ROS. What you say Mr. NG!
Nicklaus Gaut
11:28
Relevant? Yes. Post-hype prospect written all over him - mostly because he plays on the moon tho
11:29
Horwitz is fine, just unexciting. High floor for compiling, given playing time/lineup order, and won't hurt you. Just won't help you a ton
Cklete Boyer
11:29
Is Sim Woods Richardson a better long-term investment than Angel Zerpa (a prospective closer), Jose Soriano, JP Sears, or David Festa?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:29
No.
Festa.
For life
11:30
Okay, probably not "for life" but maybe "4 Life"?
Chris
11:30
Yeah but the morons in my league left Jackson Holliday out there...
Nicklaus Gaut
11:30
Welp, that makes more sense lol!

How many save ops does Ben Joyce get rest of the season?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:32
If you set it at a 10 o/u, I'd prooo-bably take the over?
I really like Joyce
but also the Angels are dumb
Power Arms
11:33
Thanks for doing these!  How would you rank Glasnow, Cease, Jones, Kirby and Crochet in a keeper league?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:33
Kirby > Glasnow > Jones > Cease > Crochet
11:34
And you're welcome!

Nick, what do you know about B. Hurter (SP - DET)?  He was called up yesterday, and was on his way to the W until Miller screwed the pooch.
