Way more bullish on Mayo for starting in the majors right off
11:38
terrible debut but never got a real chance

Whilew Drew Rasmussen is looking like he's back from the dead, Reid Detmers is stinking up the joint. Predictions for nesxt year about both performance and health for these guys?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:39
Reid Detmers: to the moon, obs
god I hope I can quit him someday
11:40
Love me some Rasmussen (someday I'll tell you about my 100% rostering for the two-years prior to his last TJ) but it's hard to project him as a full-time starter

Pablo just about killed me yesterday and Bryan Woo had an awesome start until he didn't and I don't know if Degrom or Pepiot go more than 3 innings...so here is the question: which 3 would you pick (h2h categories):  Ryan Pepiot, Bryan Woo, Jacob Degrom, Pablo Lopez
Nicklaus Gaut
11:42
I'm sitting deGrom -
11:43
just don't trust him for more than 3 IP

Just wanted to be a sap and say thanks, Nicklaus. Your advice has served me well, when I chose to listen! As pseudo-GMs we follow our gut on every call, but your chats and advice have been clutch. I'm in the World Series in no small part to said gut, but thanks again for a fun szn!

Yo-oooooooo...Thank you!
No sap, at all. I love hearing that I've helped, even if its just a little bit

Thanks for all the great help this season, Nick!  One last question for the year.  In my 5x5 weekly, my hitters can pick up a point in BA, runs, and SB; need to maintain a 4-HR lead, and RBI is pretty much locked up.  Given those needs, who do you start between:
C: J. Realmuto vs. T. d'Arnaud
CI: L. Wade vs. J. Yepez
OF: A. McCutchen over any of B. Doyle (hurting), I. Happ (hurting), B. Marsh (platoon), L. Thomas (platoon)
Yepez could start and bump any of those OF, too.
Nicklaus Gaut
11:44
Realmuto, Wade
11:45
assuming health, I'm going Happ

'25 Rank Casas/Tork/Horowitz/Manzardo. Thanks NG.
Nicklaus Gaut
11:46
Casas > Horwitz > Manzardo > Tork
And you're welcome!
Manfred Rules
11:47
Do you think Robby will get his way and enforce a 6 inning minimum for starting pitchers? If yes, will it affect fantasy baseball much?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:47
its so dumb
11:48
I don't think he'll get his exact way but it might be something in the ballpark
I think it would affect fantasy quite a bit
11:49
Have I mentioned I think Manfred is the devil?
S. Cohen

deGrom is a Top blank starting pitcher in 2025?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:50
"Top-10"...for about 10 weeks
2025 Keepers
11:50
Pick up to three of these for 2025 in a H2H categories league? Max of three years of control for new draftees. Corbin Caroll (1yr), Acuna (1 yr), Harper (1yr), Sale (2 yr), Machado (2 yrs), Altuve (1yr)
Nicklaus Gaut
11:51
Sale, Acuna, Harper
Rick Wise
11:51
W. Abreau and Pages worth resigning for next year? I worry about the former’s platooning and the latter’s usage.
Nicklaus Gaut
11:51
I share both of your concerns and that likely stops me from resigning.
Bryce Miller Time
11:52
I too was worried about Bryce on the road vs. Houston. Though Alvarez hurt his knee, so there's one less crazy bat...
Nicklaus Gaut
11:52
One less crazy, for sure, but I'm still hiding from it ; )

For next year I have yiungsters Acuña, Yorke, Young (was), Crews, McCray and Baty. All cheap in a 11 team NL 5x5. How many make OD? Do I retain anyone that does?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:54
I think Acuna, Yorke, Young, Crews make OD and I'd want to retain all
McCrary and Baty, much less interest and not sure if they'll make OD
Power Bats
11:55
Both Santander and Teoscar are going to be free agents, who gets the bigger deal this offseason?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:55
Santander
Keepers
11:56
Wallner at $1 and Eugenio Suarez at $1. Standard 6x6 roto. Both worth keeping or try selling high in offseason?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:56
Both great values but I'm be more inclined to keep Suarez (~30 HR for a buck ain't too shabby) and try to move Wallner.
Alek Manoah
11:57
What's the future for Manoah?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:57
State fair showcases?
