Hi everyone!  Today we're excited to host recently-retired MLB infielder Christian Colon.  Christian was drafted fourth overall out of California State by the Royals and also played for the Marlins and Reds.  He's a big fan of MLBTR and he happily agreed to do a live chat.

Was making the decision to retire comfortable at all?

It was really hard actually I was thinking about doing it since 2019. A lot of different things go into it but I have a bigger purpose to keep help players reach their goals!

I would say 2014 i was very excited to have reached the big leagues so I was motivated and I felt like it was working! Obviously 2015 is special too !

The lifestyle playing in the MLB is hardest. you start looking around and compering your game and life. when you don’t have to do that. Just go out and compete

Tune them out. Don’t waste ur time we don’t hear or care to be honest. Once in a while we hear some that makes us laugh but we are built to not even hear it.
