A few times... mostly Randy Johnson (He's intimidating already.) and Ken Griffey Jr. other than that, I quickly realized how down to earth and genuinely nice most of them were so it made it a lot easier to get over any nervousness.

I think either my MLB debut, seeing Bochy signal for me to come in and hearing 50,000 people cheer when they found out it was my debut, and I ended up striking out the first batter I faced in the big leagues! And another good one was having my grandma see me play in person in the bigs before she passed away, a very special moment for me because she always told me growing up she was going to watch me play in the big leagues someday. And meeting Trevor Hoffman for the first time during spring training with Padres and having him tell me, "Hinshaw, I remeber you from the Giants, you have some nasty sh*t!... we are lucky to have you!"

Great question!!! The number one hack is to invest in some good headphones!!! And always remember, you never know who you are talking to. Oh and I almost forgot... Don't carry your luggage with your throwing arm!
