Everyone always has really good things to say about Seattle, so I'm looking forward to hopefully crossing that one off the list.

How do the baseball stadium and facilities at Mississippi State compare to some of the minor and major league stadiums you have played in?  Hail State!
Brent Rooker
12:32
The new facility we built in Starkville is the best stadium/facility in the country that isnt in the Major Leagues.

12:33
Brent, you said you liked playing at Busch Stadium earlier. But what has been your favorite Minor League park to hit in? Is there a spot you felt really comfortable?
Brent Rooker
12:33
Favorite minor league park is in Columbus. Ive had a lot of success there and its a beautiful stadium.

12:34
Brent, I must've seen you hit seven or eight homers into the Treasure Island letters at CHS Field, what was your favorite thing about that park?
Brent Rooker
12:35
I loved my time in St Paul and CHS is another awesome minor league park. Probably the best atmosphere and environment in the minor leagues.

Did you find-out about a trade from another source like social media, or did you always get a call from your agent?
Brent Rooker
12:36
The GM of the team thats trading you is normally who lets you know.

Hey Brent -- was there ever a minor leaguer you played with or against that you cannot believe never made it in the bigs?
Brent Rooker
12:37
Ive played with and against a ton of pitchers who definitely had major league stuff, but unfortunately injuries made it difficult for them to make it.
PJW
12:37
Brent, when injured in the majors or minors is that considered a work comp injury?
Brent Rooker
12:37
Yes, it is.
Cody
12:38
In such a short time you’ve gone through many different coaching staffs. How does that affect your hitting
Brent Rooker
12:40
I think most guys will tell you that by the team you reach the major leagues in order to have success you have to be your own best coach.  You know your swing better than anyone else and while you are obviously surrounded by very knowledgeable coaches that bring a ton of value, youre ultimately in charge of your own game and career.

12:41
Brent, what is your favorite show? And why is it Arrested Development?
Brent Rooker
12:41
Bob Loblaw Lobs Law Bomb
John
12:41
What makes triple A so much different from the Major leagues besides the talent level?
Brent Rooker
12:42
I think the biggest difference is the pitchers ability to use the information they have on you to formulate a game plan that both exposes your weaknesses as well uses your strengths against you and then effectively execute that plan.
Jeff Chisholm
12:43
How much video game playing is there in the dugout during down time? Is there a game played more than others?
Brent Rooker
12:43
Assuming you mean in the clubhouse and not dugout, but card games are the most prevalent way of passing time
Walton Dilcox
12:44
Wtheck is it like to try and hit a 93 MPH slider?
Brent Rooker
12:44
Incredibly difficult is the best answer i can give you
Terry Rooker
12:44
I'm proud to see you play! What is your stance on family?
Brent Rooker
12:44
Hey, Dad.
Matt
12:45
How does it feel to have someone stop you on the street, or at dinner, for a picture or a signature? What advice would you give to anyone who likes to get big league players' autographs?
Brent Rooker
12:46
This doesnt happen as much to me as it does people who are.. you know, actually good. But I will tell you that just saying "please" goes a long way.

12:47
Can you talk about the time the padres called you up for a double header? If memory serves you didn't get into that game, did you fly to SD, chill on the bench and head back to el paso?
Brent Rooker
12:48
Yes this is normally the process for guys getting called up for doubleheaders but, to be fair, you know that going in since you known youve been designated as the 27th man for those games.

12:48
How much does it help you guys now that the MLB teams are providing housing to the minors players?
Brent Rooker
12:49
Theres definitely a long way to go on this front, but were making a lot of strides in the right direction which is very encouraging.  This helps guys out tremendously.
John
12:50
How often do you communicate with your agent? Is it mostly contract related stuff or what other things does s/he help you with?
Brent Rooker
12:51
This probably varies guy to guy and agent to agent, but I am very close with my agent and everyone who works within my agency and they help me out with pretty much everything you could imagine, both baseball related and otherwise.
