The reporter asks about the 2019 novel Coronavirus symptoms.
Rachel speaks,"That the symptoms are fever and the lower respiratory symptoms.Example cough, respiratory problems.
When the reporter asks what the Department of Health and the CDC suggest to prevent this virus.
Rachel says,"Best this we can do is good handwashing and if you are coming down with fever or respiratory symptoms you cover your mouth and avoid touching things, if you are sick wear a mask."

The reporter asks the next question to Marissa.
When asked about students not wearing masks around the campus.
Marissa says, " We do have a lot of students coming and asking for masks and masks are used for students who are not well. Student Health services are not providing masks to healthy students, We are providing masks to students who are exhibiting symptoms of fever"

Talking about Guidelines to Chinese students and international students, Marisa says,"The guidelines are for everyone. The guidelines are that if you have fever, do not come to class. Go to health care provider.This is their number.one guidance.We have got a lot of students and parents who are concerned".

Marisa says,"The facility has said that if the person they had next to travelled had no symptoms then according to guidelines then there is no reason to be concerned.Sometimes it becomes a challenging conversation because that's not the answer people always want to hear but those are the current guideline.We have tripped our amount of influenza vaccine even though the virus is not treated by the influenza vaccine.The epitomologists are still learning about the virus which becomes very challenging".

Marisa further adds,"The student health services are working very close with the university hospital.

On questioning if the students travelling from China are asked to check in with the school with anyone around the university campus.

Malisa replies again, "As you return into the US, we are not asking anyone officially to check in.The government has made such arrangements at the airport but we do have a screening practices at the health care services".

Malisa says," We are concerned about the students. There is a 24 hours hotline that the department of health has provided us to contact them and they will speak  with us about the cases concerned".
