Hello.  Sounds like your daughter is a Temporary Resident during her fellowship.  Everything is in order as you described, however, she may need a parking permit depending on the restrictions where she lives.  https://dmv.dc.gov/service/parking-permits-and-reciprocity-permits

My daughter  graduated from college this spring and has just started a 12 month temporary fellowship in DC. She will have to find a permanent job somewhere in the US after this fellowship is over. She is still using my car, which is titled in Kentucky. She also has a KY license. What do we need to do?

Hello.  How do I request a hearing for a medical issue?
12:20
Hi I recently had my license revoked b/c of a medical issue.  The letter I received said I could request a hearing but did not include any information on how to make such a request.  How do I apply for a hearing related to a medical issue?

You may also consider contacting the Central Collection Unit to see if you are eligible for a payment plan.

Hello.  I am sorry to hear about your tickets.  However, the Adjudication Process provides you with legal options if you feel a Hearing Examiner made the incorrect decision.  You must follow the process as listed at the bottom of your hearing record(s) for the next steps.

I had three tickets from the camera on Eastern Ave and that camera is clearly beat up and obstructed. When I contest the ticket, the adjudication says the camera is fine and I must pay the ticket. That’s $300 and given the climate of the nation and economy, that’s a lot of money for a camera that’s probably giving out unnecessary and invalid tickets to residents.

Hello.  You must have your eye doctor fill in the "Eye" portion of the Medical/Eye Form indicating you do not have the condition.  Once you provide that we can remove the designation.  https://dmv.dc.gov/node/136022

Can I now change my designation at DMV as a glaucoma patient, so in the future I don’t need to fill out extra medical permission forms and pay my eye doctor extra fees to renew my license?
12:07
In March 2020 I filled out the DC driver’s license renewal application, and I mistakenly checked the box on the form that says I’m a glaucoma patient.  My eye doctor has prescribed eye drops to prevent me from developing glaucoma, but he assured me that I don’t have the disease and shouldn’t have checked that box on the license renewal application.

I'm now ready to take your questions related to any DMV service and activity. If you have a question not related to DMV, I'll try my best to redirect you to the appropriate agency.  Also, I may not be able to answer specific questions which require research related to DMV issues since I only have an hour to chat. Therefore, if your question is specific to your driver license, a ticket, etc, I may request you submit it to us by email (dmv@dc.gov) or service request (http://311.dc.gov).

Good afternoon and welcome to today’s online chat with me, Gabriel Robinson, DMV Director. Today, we’ll discuss your various DMV issues related to driver licenses and identification cards; vehicle inspections, titles and registrations; and the adjudication of photo, parking and moving violations. We have over 55 online services (http://dmv.dc.gov/page/online-services) and seven facilities which provide in-person service to 2,800-3,300 daily customers. In regards to tickets, we have two main sister agencies: DDOT which regulates parking (i.e., signage, meters and parking permits) and DPW/DDOT which issues parking tickets, along with 30 plus other entities in the District. Also, MPD issues photo enforcement tickets.
