Maybe. Good opportunity to point out our extensive Callup Reports for all of the rookies debuting this week. Writeup on Muncy definitely gives him a chance to stick and contribute.

Way too early to panic on Clase blowing a save already?  Same panic feeling with Gallen and Berrios?
Ray Murphy
12:37
Definitely not panicking over Clase. Hard to say about Gallen and Berrios as I don't have any shares of either. Gallen just looked like normal early-season command struggles. Didn't actually get eyes on Berrios.

How worried should we be about Kutter Crawford's injury?
Ray Murphy
12:38
Kind of concerning since it's an injury that dates back to last year, but on other hand the news hasn't seemingly got worse since the initial announcement that he wouldn't make Opening Day. And it's not his arm, so, I'm reasonably optimistic we'll see him by May and he'll be what we expect.

will the white sox give Ramos another shot at full time at bats when he is recovered from his injury?
Ray Murphy
12:39
No reason not to. They have plenty of fungible guys they could displace to give Ramos a long look when he's ready.

which version of David Fry will return this year?
Ray Murphy
12:41
Hard to say, he can't catch all year and that team suddenly has a lot of DH options. Unrelated: I'm kind of bullish on Bo Naylor this year, just because Fry can't catch and CLE didn't do anything to hedge Naylor... Austin Hedges (see what I did there) isn't a true pivot option from Naylor, and CLE literally has nobody else. Ergo, they seem confident that Naylor can carry the load and improve from last year's struggles.

How worried are you about Parker Meadow's injury
Ray Murphy
12:43
Last question for Don :)

Somewhat worried just because it's unusual and isn't one of those straight-line recoveries like "ok wait X time for the swelling to go down, then you can start ramping up and you know after X+Y weeks you'll be fine". But also seems like if/when the nerve calms down, he should theoretically be fine. (Reminder: I'm not a doctor, etc.)

OK, cleared out the queue and I'm starving, so going to wrap this up. Enjoy the full weekend of baseball ahead! And good luck to those of you drafting this weekend. Remember: if you liked/didn't like a guy on Wednesday, nothing you've seen since then should change your mind. (Except maybe Luke Jackson. :) )

Back here next Friday!
