My Toefl scores are not yet out

Ok, in this case, your application review will not be able to start until we receive your official TOEFL scores. Please place your order with ETS today - the longer it takes for us to receive the scores, the more likely it is that you won't receive a decision until May 1 or May 15.

Good Morning Will,
Just need some info-
I got everything ready to apply including unofficial transcripts, unofficial toefl score, unofficial GRE score.

I have 2 questions-
1.) Do I also need to contact my professors to send the LOR before 11:59 EST as well or they can send over the weekend.
2.) Do I need to report scores unofficially or ask ETS to send to UPenn

Gurpinder, good day. Yes, Letters of Recommendation are due by the end of the day today, as we state on our website, https://gradadm.seas.upenn.edu/how-to-apply/
We do ask that you have official scores for the GRE/TOEFL sent to Penn Engineering once you've submitted your application, if you have not already done so.

Hello Will, I am applying for the MCIT program. I want to ask about the requirements for the personal statement since I couldn't find them anywhere. How long should the personal statement be and what questions should I be answering? Thank you very much!!
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir

Sure thing.
To your question, we recommend no more than two pages in a readable font. It can be written to answer the following questions and we ask that you please provide detailed and specific examples from academia, industry or research when possible:
1) Why are you interested in the program?
2) What have you done that makes you a great candidate?
3) How will you benefit from the program?
4) What do you hope to do when you are in the program?
5) What will you do/accomplish once you have completed the program?

Hi Will, I just have a quick question while I finalise my application. I have received and reported the official GRE test that I took in February this year. However I don't think the results really reflect my skills as I took the exam without an opportunity to prepare because of work commitment.  I have registered to retake the test next week and the result should be out the first week of April. Can I order the result to be send

Guest, I'm sorry, but we wouldn't consider those new scores, as they will come after the application deadline. All application materials, including test scores, must be final as of today, March 15.

Hi Sairaj
Sairaj
10:06
i forgot to send the official TOEFL score and I just sent it today. But I have already added the unofficial ones in the application. Is that fine?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
10:06
Yes, that is ok
Sairaj
10:06
I mean it can still be considered for evaluation before the official scores reach you right?
AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir
10:07
We usually begin application reviews on the unofficial scores, so as long as those are there everything will be ok
Sairaj

AvatarWill Fenton, Asst Dir

Akash, since it's done by program, you'll need to contact that specific program. Are you a master's or PhD applicant?
