5x5 deep deep NL-only.
1.      Need a hitter at UT for the next month. Heyward, Ty. Wade, Bauers, Kike Hernandez, Espinal, Amed Rosario, Bouchard, Martini, Wisely, Trejo, Blake Dunn or Triolo?

2.      Or just wait and get zero stats for a week until maybe someone better becomes available?

3.      Among that group, do any have breakout potential, even if they are not a great play this month?

Sorry, too many names to really evaluate. Rosario's playing a lot and unlikely to hurt you too much. Would NOT take a zero for that long.

Edward Cabrera has been awful, though his 4.81 xERA is only moderately terrible. Killing my ratios in deep NL-only. Do we think Cabrera turns it around soon or should I drop him for a middle reliever?
Ray Murphy
12:48
Yes, he's been bad, but I'm still sort of a believer. He's drawn a tough schedule so far... ARI/CIN/LA last three is tough.

Bo Bichette was just dropped in my 12 team mixed 5x5 with OPS instead of BA. Is he basically replacement level in that type of league or do you think his HR will rebound?
Ray Murphy
12:49
I was going to say "cmon, he's hitting .300, even if that's totally empty, that's still helpful"... but you're in an OPS league. Yes, I think he's replacement level in your format.

Industry consensus around ARI closer read seems to be Miller immediate-term and Ginkel long term, based on Ginkel being mentioned as a possible closer in preseason and his track record last year. But Miller has been dominant this year (30% K, 15.5% SwK, albeit one month sample). Is there a good chance he just runs away with the role for however long J-Mart is out (or even beyond)?
Ray Murphy
12:50
Sure, he got the ball last night and converted. He's sufficiently skilled, there's certainly a scenario where he doesn't give them any reason to pivot to Ginkel.

What do you expect from Chandler Simpson? Will he hit enough to have much value in a 12 team mixed with OPS instead of BA?
Ray Murphy
12:51
No, OPS is never going to be a good format for him unless he starts running like crazy.

Heliot Ramos is on a mini-heater. Seeing anything promising under the hood or just a hot streak? (12-team OBP)
Ray Murphy

YTD skills look right in line with last year.

Xavier Edwards has been rough-- no steals in two weeks. CT% is fine but doesn't appear all that unlucky. Are we at a point of concern, and if looking for SB would you consider swapping him for someone like Victor Scott or TJ Friedl?
Ray Murphy
12:55
I'd rather have Scott at this point, yes.

Which two do you prefer to own over the medium-term for 5x5 QS: Taj Bradley, Reese Olson, Gonsolin, Giolito, Berrios, Wacha, Bello
Ray Murphy
12:56
Taj for sure.... maybe Giolito as the 2nd?

Vientos was on my do not draft list pre szn but im intrigued with him as a buy low right now. Would you part with a mid tier SP for him in a 12 team h2h mix categories League?
Ray Murphy
12:56
He's coming around, but I'm not sure giving up a mid-tier SP is "buying low". Would help to have a name.

N Marte a sell-high in 12 team mixes roto redrafts?
Ray Murphy
12:57
12 team mixed is a high bar. I'd be listening.

Time to move on in NL only?
Ray Murphy
12:57
For me, yes. But I was never on this bandwagon.

OK, as always, that hour went quickly. Thanks for all the Q's, catch you next week!
