Couple ways:
  • STATS / HISTORICAL STATS from the menu bar or this link. Can filter by team, Lg, position, etc ... and note the "stat type" gives you four different pages
  • STATS / CSV DOWNLOADS from the menu bar (this link) is where you can download the full set of stats/metrics that includes BHQ-relevant goodies for your own spreadsheet viewing pleasure.
Hope this helps!

What do expect for Tyler Stephenson ROS?
Brent Hershey
12:49
Really nice gains in plate approach and power so far. Think this pace is sustainable and he could become a important roster piece by the end of the season.

Hi Brent!  Thanks for these chats.  What can we expect from mystery man Wenceel Perez?  Will he stick as a relevant fantasy CF or is he a May wonder?
Brent Hershey
12:53
His history says to be careful. But he has tools and is still young (24) and DET has him out there pretty much every day. I wouldn't expect .300 BA, but .260 and with double-digit HR and SB? Very possible. We might even be asking "Parker who?" come August or so

Hi Brent - 12 team roto and I have been leaving Gleyber on the bench recently.  Time to go ahead and cut bait?
Brent Hershey
12:55
I know it's been bad, but even in a 12, I'd hold (on the bench of course) for a little while longer if I could. History just littered with guys who for whatever reason have rough stretches and then rebound. Still crazy young and a decent track record. But ... always depends on your other options, too.

Edwin Diaz's trumpets have been replaced with a sad trombone. Is he a must-hold in 12-teamers given the upside (#1 RP) and possibility of this being a short-term mechanical and/or mental blip? Or would you consider moving on if you could roster Reed Garrett?
Brent Hershey
12:57
I would not, even in a 12. Sure, if you can roster Garrett I would do it just for a short-term saves boost -- but if that mean dropping Díaz, I would not go that far. Remember Josh Hader's August from a couple years ago? Was so awful, but turned it around even that season. Plus with Díaz's contract, they are going to give him every chance to get "it" back.

Whats your thoughts on Taj Bradley? Ive read a ton and its mixed. Some are high sime arent. I was offered Issac Paredes for him. 12 team H2H Dynasty Points league
Brent Hershey
12:58
Given state of pitching, I'd hold onto Bradley if I had him. Paredes is not the type of deal I'd accept -- especially in a dynasty league. So young yet.

Hi Brent, thanks as always for the great chats. Torkelson has shown improved results and batted ball quality over the last week or so, but the unexpected struggles against fastballs (which he crushed in his breakout 2H last year) seem to largely still be there. So here is a three-parter: 1. Are you seeing signs of a real turnaround, or is it too early to say? 2. Who has the better rebound potential for this year, Tork or Nolan Jones? 3. Who do you like better for this week only, Tork or O'Hearn (BAL plays 7 and 6 vRHP)?
Brent Hershey

  1. Too early to say. Keep watching if you can.
  2. Close, esp given Jones' broader skill set (SB, BA). But would lean Tork, b/c his improvements last year had a stronger skills foundation than Jones.
  3. O'Hearn -- dude is on a roll, awesome lineup situation, you know when he's gonna play.

I've heard this song before, and it rarely ends well. Was SO high on him this year and drafted him a lot ... but in my redraft leagues, he was a cut for me this weekend. I don't say he's an auto cut just yet (esp if you've held him this far), but my expectations are low at this point. Sad.

Whew ... time flies. Shorts from here on for another 5 min or so.

Looks like Soderstrom unfortunately won't keep catcher eligibility for next year. Would you rather have him or Manzardo as a dynasty league 1B?
Brent Hershey
1:04
Soderstrom right now

Hi Brent, couple of questions re my H2H Points League:

1) Picked up Jansen with Murphy on IL. How much difference do you think there will be between them ROS? Struggling with who to drop.

2) Would you rather have Justin Turner or Rengifo ROS? I’m particularly interested in both of their position eligibility.

Thanks, as always.
Brent Hershey

1) I'd want Murphy
2) Rengifo

Hi Brent,  Ian Happ was a HQ recommendation this spring but has had a bad start.  He was the subject of a hidden injury column a few weeks re his hammy.  His power metrics and contact are terrible.  If we ignore speed/SB, what are your thoughts about cutting him in a 12-teamer, where replacement is the likes of Blackmon, E. Rosario (yuck). Hold for a while longer?
Brent Hershey
1:05
Yeah, I'd hold but be on the lookout. In a 12, depends on replacement.

Are we deep enough into the season to make assumptions about the type of baseballs that are being used? It sure seems like we're using a dead ball again? Thoughts?
Brent Hershey
1:06
Not deep enough; I'm sure we'll here more on this soon, though.

Ortiz / India / Garcia

I drafted Hunter Harvey last year as an end-gamer and rolled him into 2024. I am a patient owner but wondering if (health permitting) his opportunity does not come until next year. Is the quasi-success the Nats are enjoying working against me?
Brent Hershey
1:06
I'd still hold if you have roster room. FInnegan's underlying skills are shaky.

Jose Fermin continues to tear it up at AAA Memphis after being sent down. Will the Cardinals find a place for him? Maybe give him a shot at replacing Nolan Gorman? Is Fermin worth a stash in an NL only keeper?
Brent Hershey

Doubt they will create a spot right now. August, if this dumpster fire continues? Maybe

NL only keeper, any interest in stashing Calvin Faucher, Kyle Nicolas, Randy Rodriguez, or Chris Roycroft? Stuff+ loves them all.
Brent Hershey

Not at this point ... though I'd surely keep tracking all
Lou

Deep, NL-only league with a great race underway. Offense is strong but pitching is light on SP. The following are available to me in trade: Luzardo, Gore, and Lodolo. Who is the best ROS target? Gore seems to get an edge for health, but Luzardo may end up on a very good contender.
Brent Hershey
1:08
Gore

12 team H2H points league heavily weighted towards wins. Recommendation on two of these pitchers. One note, Bradley and Housk face each other. T Bradley, Houck or Kremer.
