Studly Dudley? Not a bad nickname. I like it. No offense to him but he wasn't too Studly in that game. TJ defense too good. I was at game. Dudley is talented but I thought in that game he might have held on to ball a little too long and tried to make too many plays with his feet. TJ isn't Quaker Valley, Keystone Oaks or Waynesburg. As far as top 5 junior QBs, I'd really have to think about that. No junior QB really is a big-time Division I prospect. Some good ones but no "studs."

It's all a matter of opinion. Yes six classes has its drawbacks. But I know it has helped some teams be more competitive and enjoy some success they haven't had with four classes.

Last year at this time I was drinking the Kool Aid on North Allegheny and we know how that turned out.   I'm starting to do it again. I just assumed their qb couldn't run because he didn't until a few weeks ago.  Now they've added that wrinkle to their offense.  I like their depth and if Dinkins brings it every play, i'm not sure anyone has an answer for him.  I see 6A as a two horse race after the thrashing PR took from Central Catholic. I admit that CC got the best (slightly) of NA except for the scoreboard in round 1, but who do you think wins the rematch?  I think NA.  Both teams have depth.

I'm not picking playoff winners with three weeks left in regular season. NA, Central, Pine are still the big three, although Pine vs. Lebo this week should be interesting. NA is good. So is Central. Pine made a lot of mistakes against Central and their line was beaten soundly. No matter who comes out of WPIAL in 6A, though, no way I see them beating St. Joe's in semifinals.

Do you think Kiski Area will make the playoffs in 5A Northern Conference? Their remaining conference games include @Mars & home with Armstrong.

Kiski has a good chance. I don't see them beating Mars but I do see them beating Armstrong. Top five teams automatically qualify and possibly a sixth. Yes, I see Kiski as one of the top five, but they are not mathematically in.

This isn't the NFL or even NCAA. But I think Mike Tomlin is a definite candidate for Washington job. I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted it.  But I don't think Mike Bosnic is going anywhere. Little Prexies are really good again.

Prediction - Pine Richland will lose to Lebo and is 50/50 against Seneca Valley.  North Allegheny beat them upfront last year and that will be far worse this year.   Palko for coach of the year if he gets 8 wins?

A Lebo win against Pine would not be shocking and many thought Seneca was going to be a top four team at start of season. I still think Seneca is dangerous. Maybe they will put it together late in this season.
