Thanks for great WPIAL basketball coverage thru the tournament….some of my favorite teams remain…..NORTH HILLS, QUAKER VALLEY, BISHOP CANEVIN……even my Alma Mater, LEBO,alive and kicking…..my favorite season of the year!

Suspended two games. Game officials can levy that when coach has unsportsmanlike conduct or behavior or bumps an official. I don't know exactly what Steve Antuono did, but he got the supplemental extra game suspension.

Why is it a game suspension for a technical foul in the playoffs when its only a suspension in the regular season for a ejection?

You have things wrong. You don't get a game suspension for one technical foul. It's just a technical. You get ejected for two technicals. Then you must sit next game. However, if you get thrown out for abusive language toward an official or bumping an official, you get a two-game suspension. Rules are not different in playoffs or regular season.

What’re your thoughts on DL boys basketball season this year? How about their coaches Terrance Parham and Albie Fletcher walking into a rundown organization a few years ago and starting a franchise. Those guys are the real deal for sure!!

I don't know Albie Fletcher. But Terence Parham has done an excellent job at a program that has not had much success for decades. Kudos to him. But he did well at Shady Side Academy, too. Not easy to turn around downtrodden program. Kudos to him.

I watched Lincoln Park’s games against North Catholic and QV and to me no teams have more talent than they do. But they seem to not be cohesive and operating as a unit, too much settling for threes or individuals trying to make plays. Seems like the sum of the parts doesn’t add up like it should with them. Am I erroneous in that thought?

No, I think you are somewhat on. I don't know about cohesiveness. I don't know dynamics of team. Not around them much. But they don't have any size and they do have talented one-on-one players. Their style was to play five out and use lot of ball screens and one-on-one action. They still had a good team. Their loss to Quaker Valley in semis, LP settled for tons of 3's, and did not make many of them. Took some bad ones, too.
