Yes, and I'm not real sure. I think the fact they are considered exchange students makes them a little different. Just funny how two big kids who play basketball just happen to show up together and live with an AG player? But c'mon, man, that's merely a coincidence, don't you know?

It does, unless a school's gym isn't sufficient to host the game. That's why you had a few higher seeds play on the road.

I don't disagree. But I'm sure there was a part of them that wanted to at least give the teams an opportunity to play. I can't fault them.

Why not have some media representation on the basketball seeding committee from the post-gazette & Trib?  You guys know the teams probably better than most on the committee.

Speaking of the Hutcherson ruling, it seems like it could be open season on transfers if PIAA loses appeal where everyone goes to court.

It all depends on what happens with appeal. Honestly, I'd be willing to bet PIAA wins appeal. If they don't, I don't know what will happen with the rule.

Kyrell Hutcherson recently got approved to play in he post season after transferring after his Jr year. Is there any update on Gales(canevin) and Laure(Rochester)  being eligible? Both are Jr Leading scorers on their respective teams. If one is granted eligibility should they all get that opportunity? Thoughts?

Some of the Canevin transfers have postseason eligibility because they came from Vincentian, a school that closed. When a school closes, you can go somewhere else and have immediate eligibility.

Private schools are going to start complaining about how many recruits are transferring for athletic intent to public schools.  NA just beat the system with Hutcherson.

Totally disagree. No official deserves to be treated like they are by some fans. It's not as bad this year because of the small crowds and everything can be heard. You see a lot more "tough guys" on officials when there is a crowd around.

The Springdale coach has a great argument against the school district who shut his team down.  However, he used the pg to blast his employer.  Good or bad move?

Well, he was just expressing his opinion and saying he doesn't agree with school. I think he tried to do in in a diplomatic way. He should be allowed to do that. But knowing how a lot of schools are, it probably won't help him.
