Yes, 5A will be very good again.

Oakland Catholic vs South Fayette girls on weds, now that OC has had time to adjust without London Creach they have to be the favorite, right?

I wouldn't say that. Creach is still not there. I don't care what adjustments they made. Can Oakland Catholic win? Most certainly. But I wouldn't say they are the favorite.

Uniontown is 5A next year based on enrollment numbers, look at the report from PIAA.

I was just wondering. It really isn't a big deal either way, but given what happened in the Central Catholic game a few weeks ago. Why is it a technical in Pennsylvania for dunking in warmups?? A lot of other states seem to allow it. Why is a big deal if they dunk or touch the rim in warmups?

It's an old, old rule. I think the genesis of the rule goes way back when dunking was first allowed. Schools didn't want extra dunking because if you remember, the rims back then were the old-school rims. Not the breakaway rims with give that are now used. It was much easier to bend those rims years ago when dunking, and if you hung on rim. I seem to remember that was a main reason for not allowing dunking. in warmups. And I must say I remember many, many years ago I saw rims bent at places from dunking and just stupid kids hanging on rims. The rims nowadays aren't like that. So maybe they could change the rule. Although you know if kids are allowed to dunk in warmups, they will hang on the rims.
