I'm not really sure. Maybe the PIAA counts things a little differently. They have recently counted only a percentage of vo-tech students, etc. Plus, right now I think the PA Department of Education has only enrollment figures from last year. PIAA will require this year's figures some time in October. It will be from this year's enrollments and count only students in grades 9-10-11.
Medical Question

Wondering about the awful situation that occurred in Karns City. Are all PIAA schools required to have certified EMTs or paramedics at the site for a game. Are all schools required to have a certified athletic trainer ?

Can't remember what requirements are. But for varsity games, most schools require a trainer to be present. And many times, EMTs are present. But there are so many middle school games, etc., there can't always be trainers at these games.

What happened to First Love Christian Academy?

No longer a team in Washington. I don't know if school still exists or not. First Love combined with team at Scotland last year in middle of state. Jake DiMichele, former OLSH star, played there.
Well that's about it. Time for a sandwich. See you next Tuesday at 11. Everyone, be good.
