You mentioned earlier Avery Bokor Hopewell receiver, do you know if any relation to Craig Bokor, star player at Hopewell then played at Pitt?

Yep, that's his son. Craig is now a Hopewell assistant. He did play at Pitt. He and his are just a tad different in their bodies. Craig was an interior lineman on that Hopewell state championship team. His son is a long, athletic receiver.

Man, that's a tough one. That game and Central vs. Pine are definitely the best games this week. Learned many years ago don't go against Quips too much. But I think I'll go Seton in this one. I think Greg Gattuso runs over Sherman McBride for winning TD for Seton.

Are you surprised that Spell returned to McKeesport?   I think their d1 receiver, Robinson, is the poster child for why kids go to Central Catholic or relocate (to a Pine Richland). That was a good team last year. I thought the kids deserved better.   It makes me wonder about their youth program and 7  on 7 as far as qbs/passing goes.      Do you think there is a more explosive player in the WPIAL than PR's Taylor? Did you see the two one handed grabs Friday?...one on offense and one on defense.  Wow.  And wants he catches it, good look tackling him.

No, I'm not surprised Spell returned to McKeesport. It's his home. It's his buddies he grew up with. He had great success there. Why do people want to push good local kids out of their high schools? And please spare me he would get challenged more somewhere else. By the time you're a senior, you are what you are. As for McKeesport passing, it's that offense they run. Kids in younger grades run it. Passing is not a big part of it, so passing quarterbacks don't come through system.
