Sure. What about the teams who have maybe 17-18 players on roster and do legitimately have only 11 players available. Like I said, there are forfeits every year now, it seems. Perry and Springdale forfeited their first games last year because of low rosters. It's the world of small-school football nowadays. The Shady Side situation looked different, though.

Fort Cherry had 55 at halftime. If the game wasn't called because of lightning, they were going for 100. All starters in at the end of the 2nd qtr. Matt Sieg's stats in garbage time are impressive though.

Starters playing first half, I have no problem with. And sorry, I've seen many games past few years where Fort Cherry blows out an opponent, and Matt Sieg hardly throws the ball and doesn't run maybe 10 times.

With the way schedules are put together, would SSA host Clairton next year? Maybe the cure is that Clairton gets the 2026 home game too.

No. Schedules are made in two-year cycles. This is the second year of the cycle. New schedule next year.

I just did a big story on Hopewell QB James Armstrong last week. They are now ranked. I guess some people just can't get enough love. But that's why you never marry a tennis player, like Sabalenka. Because to those tennis players, love means nothing. .... Wooooo hooooo!!!! I'll be here all week. Try the veal. Tip your waitresses.

Lebo football is so comically bad. Good chance they go 0-10, even with atleast 10 D1 players. Where do they find these joker coaches? Art Walker Sr. Should come back

C'mon, man. They have 10 Division I players? That's the best secret in the state then. But I will say it is eye-opening their scores this year. Outscored 92-36. But they have played three good teams. But I thought they might be a little more competitive.

Keep you eye out for freshman Caleb McConnell from Shenango.  This kid has a lot of potential.  Threw for 190 against Mohawk plus he is a kicker/punter. Looking forward to TJ vs Avonworth this week.  Keep up the good work and enjoy lunch!

I'm bored at work and appreciate your responses, so I changed my mind. Factually, you are incorrect. Lots of garbage time Single A stats are being put up. Beating a team 79-0 like Clairton did doesn't impress me. They should be embarrassed for their complete lack of sportsmanship.

I did not say some teams don't pad stats late in game. I said specificially Matt Sieg and Fort Cherry. Here are facts from Fort Cherry's first three games: Matt Sieg has thrown total of 17 passes (that's five a game). He has thrown for only 302 yards. He has rushed 15 times for 145 yards. That's five carries a game. And that's running up stats???? C'mon. You're off base. Fort Cherry doesn't have any player with more than 16 rushes and 10 players have carried the ball. That's padding stats?
