What is the PG Game of the week? What game will you be attending?
Mike White
11:40
Fort Cherry at Monessen is game of the week. I'll be at Beaver at Chartiers Valley. Should I stop at "Harold's" on the way to Central Valley? I haven't had wings there in a while. Are they still good? But you know what? I actually stopped at Harold's two weeks ago, just to pick up some of that Harold's spice. Tremendous.

Mike What do you Think About Kiski they have had some Close games they should have won against Norwin and Hempfield Go Kiski Friday Night
Mike White
11:41
Me thinks they are 1-3. Enough said. It will be rough in that Big East.

Another week, another JV player receiving a D1 basketball "offer". Anyways...where is Imani University going to hold their home games this year?
Mike White
11:42
Sorry, but I don't know who else got an offer. As for Imani, I have no idea where they are going to play. I think they played some games at CCAC last year, correct?

Ohhhhhh. That's cruel. And the spot for Dad jokes on this chat is reserved for me. Speaking of that, did you hear about the guy who had a dream last night that he was a muffler????? Ahhhhh, he woke up exhausted. ..... Awwwww yeahhhhh. I'll be here all week. Try the veal.

Good one. I'll go South Park.

Mr. Ed referred to Ellwood City and Coach Bradley.  Your response of the difficulty of coaching two major men's sports in high school is spot on.  Coach Bradley has coached both football and men's basketball for a number of years, and has had success in both.  Aside, he is a class gentleman as a coach.  I applaud his dedication to our high school youth.
Mike White
11:46
I second that.
Hoops
11:46
Any freshman hoops stars on their way up?
Mike White
11:46
Let's wait until they actually play a game in high school.

You can certainly file this under "I'll believe it when I see it," but Greene County will win 3+ playoff games this yr. Waynesburg is a legit threat to make a run in 2A and Jeff-Morgan can make 1A quarterfinals. I know, it's TSC land, but neither of these two will be easy outs.
Mike White
11:50
Any decent team in 2A is a threat to make a run because 2A is not real good. And it wouldn't exactly be a shocker if Jeff-Morgan made quarterfinals. I think they are pretty decent. Plus, there are 16 teams in Class 1A playoffs. It's very likely if Jeff-Morgan wins conference, it will get a not-so-good team in first round. So it wouldn't take a lot to win one game and make quarterfinals.
Totals
11:50
So how many yards of total offense did USC end up with last week ?
Mike White
11:50
I think 500 and some.
City League
11:50
What would city league football be without Westinghouse? Boy has it fallen on tough times....
Mike White
11:52
University Prep still is decent, too. Allderdice is better than last year, but not great. But Brashear and Perry? Ouch. Brashear has yet to score a touchdown and Perry has six points.

Not going to name kids, but some of those Pepperdine "offered" kids not named Josh Pratt (he's the truth) would have trouble getting on the floor for Mt Lebanon HS let alone a Division 1 team.
Mike White

AA MAC conference is always a grind.  Ellwood City on top for now, but don't rule out Mohawk or Western Beaver.  Fantastic athletes at Western and very tough kids at Mohawk.  Bobby Fadden for Mohawk continues to impress (in three sports).  WB has the co-op with Lincoln Park - always good athletes.  And don't count our Riverside - always tough players and a new head coach in Rob Magnifico.  The Panthers will definitely make some noise in the MAC.
Mike White
11:57
Nobody has counted out Mohawk or Western Beaver and Bobby Fadden is indeed an impressive three-sport athlete. On the small-school level, he has to be one of the best athletes in the WPIAL.
12:02
Vann Kavals of OLSH is 6-5, 240. Plays QB, but has committed to Akron to play DE. I haven't seen him, but heard he's very good. Henry Barbisch is a 6-5 TE-DE at Bishop Canevin who is committed to Air Force. Da'Ron Barksdale of Steel Valley is a junior with a few major offers. He is just coming back from injury.
12:03
And there's the final horn. Thanks, everyone. Active chat this week. Time for a turkey sandwich. Talk to y'all next Tuesday at 11.
