Getting back to rescheduled games, I know WPIAL wanted to wait and see how things went and would there be many games postponed. But I think they have waited too long to make a decision on this.

Mike, regarding Freedom as you’ve said before, a vocal influential majority of parents can dictate school district decisions. What needs to happen is have about 100 Freedom residents show up at next board meeting and tell them either you start acting like the adults in the room instead of letting the kids do it, or we will vote out every single one of you at next election. If I was a resident I would be embarrassed by that fiasco.

I don't know what was going on with the coach. Nobody in authority wants to talk. Neither does the old coach. But the way things are going down there, heck why not just go without a coach? Let the captains be player-coaches. Wouldn't that be great? They could be like Bill Russell with the old Boston Celtics. I've been told the old coach was OK with player vote. Still, the school shouldn't have let it happen.

Touching on crowd sizes again at high school games. I saw New Castle News report Ellwood City will allow up to 1,000 fans for Friday's homecoming game. I'm not saying that's good or bad. I'm just sayin'.

Do coaches get to grade the officials after a game ? My friends son plays Soccer at KO and the official apparently did a very poor job and lost control of the game. Essentially who polices the field police and do coaches have input ?

No, there is no grading system for coaches. Can you imagine if there was? If you listened to coaches, I think just about every official would be given D's and F's. I know in football and basketball, there are people who evaluate officials in the larger classes. Not sure about soccer. But there so few officials in many sports, you might need to just deal with it.
