Assuming Lebo wins on Saturday, what are the chances they beat St. Joe's Prep and take the state title.

I think Mt. Lebanon has a legit chance to win it all. I think they win this week and then play either St. Joe's or Garnet Valley. Those teams are good, but I think Lebo is at least just as good. This isn't St. Joe's team of last few years. Just look at their scores. A number of close games. Garnet Valley is good. District 1 champ always is. But so is Mt. Lebanon.

Thought the city league represented itself well in the state playoffs. They also seem to have a few of Div 1 prospects. A little city league rebirth?

Coach Donta Green did a great job at Westinghouse this year. As far as players, Perry's Tyreese Fearbry is going to Kentucky. Brashear's Ta'Mere Robinson is a junior with a bunch of offers. They are two players who have that "P" word potential. Because of their size and athletic ability. Some would like to see more production out of them. Fearbry is a senior, so he's done. Robinson is a junior and tore his ACL. So he has to bounce back from that.

Thanks for the scouting report on State College, Mike. If they're relying on a power running game, then that's advantage Mt. Lebo. And I've spoken to buddies in Philly area who agree with you completely: this year's edition isn't the St. Joe's folks in that area are used to. North Penn had been the darling out that way and couldn't even make it out of a first round District 1 game against Ridley. All the way, Lebo!
