The level of HS football should take a significant drop with no weight training or formulated workouts. Unfortunatel Baseball was not played as I believe HS baseball talent wise passed football and basketball with all the D1 committed players. What do u think Mike?

We talked about this above. If you can start workouts in July, football will be fine. As for your other topic, you can't compare baseball recruiting to football and basketball. It's apples and oranges because of scholarships. Yes, a decent number of kids go Division I in baseball. But kids might get only a quarter scholarship, or a third scholarship. Getting a full scholarship in baseball is pretty much unheard of. That's because of scholarship limits. I think Division I baseball scholarship limit is around 9 or 10. So a college might have 30 players to split those scholarships up. Not right to compare baseball recruiting with football and basketball.

TJ's non conference schedule USC, Gateway, SF. All 5A . They should be ready for the conference games.

Yes, some teams non-conference schedules are extremely tough. WPIAL did the non-conference schedules this year, trying to match teams that are alike in strength. Well they sure made it tough on some teams. But some coaches don't mind the tough competition.

Nothing I know about Baldwin. But former Baldwin coach Joe Urmann might be the man at Peters. AD at Peters said official hire will be April 20.

Oh, yea. You're right. That was last week. That was just some Catholic school players I heard of or saw. And I think the question was about boys. I mentioned Tom Clements.

GH, don't put too much stock into the coach of the year award.  Look at the boy's side, what a joke.

The PG/Mike want as much Rod Gallagher access as possible in the next 3 years ;)
