Could very well be. I still like Penn-Trafford as maybe a sleeper. They only beat Norwin 3-0 last week. But maybe Norwin is decent. But don't sleep on Big John Ruane. At Gateway, Don Holl of Fame just might have team that can go far.

You'll never hear me say Pine won't be challenged. Hey, they are really good. But I've seen many really good teams over the years and sooner or later, they get challenged.

I watched it again on DVR. Very well done from the production side of things. Replays, etc. The second half included a lot of talking time about the P-R program, kids, and the community. They did a nice piece on a Syrian immigrant kid that's on the P-R roster, and talked about a charity event in Pine the ESPN people were at the night before.

Oh OK good. Hey, I've done TV color in blowouts. It's all about filler, filler, filler. Not easy, but you can just blither.

But, the old Root Sports telecasts were easily on the same level.

But AT&T (Root Sports) games will be back on Fridays. Will start after Pirates season. Most of games live. They will do playoff games also and championships. But same problem with championships. Penguins play that day. So two WPIAL finals will be live and two on tape after Penguin game.

Not a very good week for real top games. Our game of the week will be McKeesport and Franklin Regional. So it's up Route 22 Friday. Any suggestions where for pregame meal????

North Hills might be OK. I think we'll know a little more after this week. They play USC. Actually, might know more about both teams. If North HIlls wins, could be big game next week against West A.
