True in the sense that Hazen outright said earlier today the D'Backs are keeping an eye on pitching options

He didn't say Keuchel by name, of course, though I'd imagine the D'Backs will check in (as so many other teams will)

With the Padres seeking starting pitching, what do you see a package for Caleb Smith consisting of and how possible of a target is he for the Padres

The Padres have enough minor league depth to make a big enough offer to get Miami's attention.  But the question is, if San Diego is willing to make a big offer for a pitcher, wouldn't they want someone more established than Smith?

Plus, with five years of control, the Marlins might think Smith can still be a member of their next contender (if their rebuild ever ends)
