What is going on with Jordan Walker???  Is it time to give up on him or will he wake up ala Pages and Beck??
Nicklaus Gaut
11:07
I'm a Walker-apologist but even I'm starting to get worried
11:08
Tools are still loud but you can see him get lost too often in counts and end up making really bad whiffs
Doing really crappy vs fastballs early on and that's certainly not positive

10 team H2H 5x5 with OBP and QS: Carroll, Chisolm, Gore, Pepiot, Suarez, and Fairbanks for Mookie, Jung Hoo Lee, Caminero, Pfaadt, and Brown. Who should say no?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:09
I'd rather have the Carroll side
There's a lot of risk in the latter side

11:10
Has Bednar reclaimed the closer role or is it still by committee?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:10
It's his again but that's by default, as much as anything

11:11
Does warming weather favor hitters or pitchers more?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:11
Generally hitters -- ball travels more
Tradezzz
11:11
Perfect! I received the Carroll side
Nicklaus Gaut
11:11
Boom!
is the tork breakout real
11:12
also, is robbie ray worth holding onto
Nicklaus Gaut
11:12
Oh, it's real
and it's spectacular
11:13
Yes, hold Ray

11:14
when do I start worrying about Yordan Alvarez? should I try to trade him on his name?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:15
I say you hold
11:16
for one, I trust him more than most hitters but mostly I hate putting out a guy where everyone in the league knows I'm potentially panic-trading
I find the offers are always extra bad
11:17
plus, there are no massive red flags that make it seem like somethings super amiss
Also - a .231 BABIP doesn't help

At his peak, what kind of (way too early) player comp would you give Jesus Made? I'm off to a great start in my NL only dynast league where he is one of my three minor league picks. I'm getting a lot of offers that involve him. I'm wondering what I might be giving up if I trade him. Thanks
Nicklaus Gaut
11:18
Chourio is the easiest comp
but he's so young that I'd definately be willing to trade him for a comp MLBer

This far into the season I expected Nola and Gallen to have more than one total win. Singer leads my team with four. Do I forget about April and assume those two will right the ship soon?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:19
Yep
Wins are always a rollercoaster but April is the leader in random up-and-downs

How would you rank B Lowe, N Marte, Correa, Bohm, Stowerss and Toglia in roto leagues? This really helps with my add/drop decisions, I appreciate it!
Nicklaus Gaut
11:22
Lowe >> Correa > Bohm > Marte > Toglia > Stowers
Clarence Odbody
11:24
G’day, NG.   In both leagues I’m in I have accumulated catchers for no coherent reason.  Can you rank for the rest of the year C Narvaez, Fermin, Jansen and Quero in a deep AL only with OBP instead of BA?  And separately Moreno, Quero and ARamirez in a 15-team MLB league with both BA and OBP?   Every time a bell rings an Angel gets its wings.
Nicklaus Gaut
11:24
G'day!
Narvaez > Jansen > Fermin > Quero
11:25
Moreno > Ramirez >>>>>>> Quero

Finally a bit of positive news about J Jones. Realistically does he make it back this year and if he does should I care for this year?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:27
Care? Yes. Count on for anything meaningful, fantasy-wise? Probably not
I feel like they'll bring him along at a painstakingly slow pace

Preseason Winn was talking of increasing his SB totals from a year ago. April was a complete bust for him. What’s a realistic SB total for him ROS? 15? 25? 35?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:29
If you can believe, his pace is actually slightly better (1 every 42 PA vs 1/58 last year). Not a ton but I'll still take it
