My league is a 10-team AL-only. ERA is the only stat for pitching. We are required to have 7-9 bullpen arms. Obviously, every fantasy team carries multiple pitchers who will never see a save. It seems sites pretty much ignore these players after the season starts. Would you suggest that preseason numbers be mostly ignored and actual in-season results should be more closely used for these non-closer types? Would you even extend that process for closer mostly because saves are the overall driving value that gets adjustments and ratios are less likely to receive close scrutiny?

A good way to get a ballpark valuation would be to use the FanGraphs auction calculator and make values for current and ROS but then strip out the dollar values for Wins, Saves, and the postional adjustment
