AL Only guy here. Why are there so many starters on the Rays I’ve never heard of? Vilade batting second? Fortes? Will they succeed in making Delucca a thing? Do any of the no-names break out, or does platoon stuff keep them hemmed in?

In a points league trade, more important to take the player with higher projected points or points vs replacement. For example, Manny Machado for Ben Rice. Rice’s C backup is Y Diaz and 3B is Matt Chapman.

it's hard to say for certain without knowing your score settings...how big are the projected gaps between starter/backup at each position?

Hey, Nick. This is your MLBTR colleague Darragh McDonald. I read one of your previous chats and saw your "Wheeler is cooked because no one has ever come back from TOS" stance. I would like to push back on that. Everyone remembers Matt Harvey, Strasburg, Archer, etc., but there are different types of TOS and Wheeler has the same kind that Merrill Kelly had a few years back. Kelly was fine and I feel like Wheeler might follow in his footsteps. Just some food for thought.

8-team NL-only, 5x 5 Roto. Late draft this year, keepers due Sunday. Logan Webb was bad on Opening Night, and Matthew Boyd as awful yesterday. (Though neither was Paul Skenes atrocious.) If you were on the fence about keeping Webb or Boyd at their price tags, would their initial starts push you from a waffling "maybe"  to a "no," particularly Boyd? Having both would be a rough start in ERA and WHIP, though they totaled 14 Ks.
