Poor Bo, everyone really thought he would end up the one true Naylor

Edwin Diaz is clogging up my roster. Is it worth it to hold him? Projected return July 17, and it's the Mets.  :)
Nicklaus Gaut
1:18
Gotta hold (unfortunately), unless it's a truly desperate crunch

Best buy low trade targets.

Corey seager
April is always his worst month
there's no way he's just now a .300 OBP guy
jesus Luzardo has a 5.50 ERA with a 2.75 FIP and 2.58 xFIP
1:21
and is getting even more whiffs than ever before
Tomoyuki Sugano - tell me I'm pretty?
1:21
I'm fantasy relevant, right? Right..?
Nicklaus Gaut
1:21
Yes, definitely!
1:22
and super pretty, too
Best SP Stash?
1:22
How do you feel about Braxton Garrett and/or Brandon Young as starters to stash on the bench for a while?

Garrett has a track record of success at the big league level and is currently working off some rust in AAA. Young has strung together a few good seasons in the minors and appears to have the talent to stick in a rotation.
Nicklaus Gaut

Oh, I remain a big time sucker for Braxton Garrtett
Who do you trust more, ROS?
1:24
I see two intriguing options available for the next FAAB run (dynasty, keep forever, points league).

How real is Nathanial Lowe's resurgence with the Reds? How are you viewing Vaughn Grissom?
Nicklaus Gaut
1:25
Lowe is particularly interesting - good things happen when you hit the ball harder than ever, and in the air more than ever, both of which he's currently doing
interest compounded by home band-box, of course
Dancin Homer
1:26
Is Carlos Cortes for real? And is he worth adding in a 5x5 league (OPS and RP instead of R and RBI)? If so, who gets dropped from these terrible options: Cassie, A. Garcia, Butler and Frelick?
Nicklaus Gaut
1:27
Real enough to drop Caissie for him
but also he's a 29-year-old "breakout" for the A's
tread carefully, weary traveler
Mike
1:28
do I need to worry about Tatis, Kurtz, or JRod this early? I know it seems like A broken record I know
Nicklaus Gaut
1:28
I wouldn't stress yet
the more elite, the longer the leash
even when it sucks
but those three, in particular, I'm not sweating too much
Coffee Is For Closers So No Coffee

I seem to have filled my entire reserve roster with backup closer possibilities like Keller and Weaver and Morejon and Graham Ashcraft. Are any of those worth continuing to stash, or should I clean house and start praying for a Brady Singer revival?
Nicklaus Gaut
1:29
no. coffee
1:30
I'd probably want to keep Keller/ashcraft around for the time being

I'm in a holds league so trying to decide if Camilo Doval is the 8th inning guy for the Yankees or just another reliever.  Which is it, or is it both?  Who do I want if Bednar collapses?
Nicklaus Gaut
1:30
just another reliever
1:31
Fernando is the man you'd want
hold on, dogs
Pete
1:32
What's your take on Grant Taylor?  I thought he was useless as a reliever because he was opening and getting stretched out as a starter but now he's getting some late inning looks.  Is he viable as a saves/holds guy?
Nicklaus Gaut
1:33
I thnk so. He's been frustrating to roster (I have him in a RP-only league lol), but he's getting enough good looks to take a shot
Devers/K Marte/Gunnar
1:34
Thanks for fhe chat! Built a lot of my offense around these three in a ten team 45 man roster auction. OBP instead of average. Have solid supporting pieces but need the big dogs to bark. Should I be patient or am I screwed?
Nicklaus Gaut
1:34
I lean more patience, than screwed.
but devers worries me the most
