Hello, friends

It's a gloomy Friday, but all I have left to do is pick up the kiddos from their last day of chess camp
But also
Let's baseball!
Max Clark Callup Update?
1:01
Happy Friday Nicklaus! Any news on when Max Clark may get called up? He’s been hot this month, slashing .304/.429/.587
Nicklaus Gaut
1:01
Yeah been on fire
1:02
I think he's gone to a near-lock call-up by mid-August
But, depending on what they do at the deadline, it might be on August 1

Pick one and why. ESPN, Fantrax or yahoo.
Nicklaus Gaut
1:03
Fantrax for one reason and one reason only

Bryan

Kyle Bradish has seemingly found his rhythm over the 6 weeks. Do you seem him as a #2 starter ROS.
Nicklaus Gaut
1:04
#2 is overly aggressive unless he refinds his strikeout flavor
1:05
has been better lately, but the K's haven't been there since that back to back whiff-party he had last month
1:06
curious that those two games (9K, 12K), came during a stretch of his highest average velos
but they've been down a tick since,
1:07
with signifigant decreases in sinker usage
maybe not curious but at least interesting
Ouch

With Joshua Kuroda-Grauer's unfortunate injury because he stupidly wasn't wearing a cup, I can fill his position in my 5x5 traditional roto league with Jeremiah Jackson, Starling Marte, or Alejandro Osuna. Which of these dregs will be more productive overall for the rest of the season?
Nicklaus Gaut
1:08
I just..
gotta wear it bro
with that said; poor forking guy
1:09
do you think Mitch Haniger has called him?

I do
gimme Osuna from the dregs
Peralta trade offer
1:10
I'm debating whether to trade Freddie Peralta for Emilio Pagan and a 3rd round pick. The teams in our league keep a minimum of 10 players each (teams 5-2 keep 11and the winning team keeps 12). Peralta has underachieved for me and Peter Fairbanks has been lousy as the Marlins closer and could lose his job. Thoughts? My only hesitation is if Peralta is traded back to MIL or to ATL.
Nicklaus Gaut
1:10
yeah that's a fair trade
Imagine saying that 4 months ago
baseball remains hilarious

Should I be waiting on Joshua Baez and Charlie Condon or try to move them for players to help me close this season out and win a title? I felt like Baez could be a game changer when/if he gets the call. Currently striking out at 31% rate. I also have Hector Rodriguez.
Nicklaus Gaut
1:12
in general, I'm of the mind that you should trade prospects for pieces when it's for a title
1:13
It really depends on what you can get/will your roster still be fine if they don't end up getting callled up until mid-August
which is the timeframe(s) I find most likely
Query about Quero
1:15
Will Eduardo Quero ever be a productive offensive player? Will he at least hit his weight. or hjas his time come and gone at such a young age?
Nicklaus Gaut
1:15
the path to hitting development for young catchers if fraught with peril, so it's too early to give up on his at 23
1:16
with that said, I'm not sure the best-case version of him ever hits much more that 15 HR and likely won't be much more that fringe fantasy usefulness

In my H2H 5x5 league I have too many stud OF and not enough roster spots once Acuna is activated. I have LF, RF, DH, and Utility to fit Wood ($54), Carroll ($84), Acuna ($54), DeLauter ($8), and Yordan ($61). I can change the lineup daily, but idk that I have the energy to research 5 pitching matchups each day. Who would you bench on a regular basis? Or would you explore trading one of them? We can keep up to 10 players each year with a $500 keeper + auction budget

that's a murderer's row
I'd definitely explore a trade to fill any holes elsewhere, first
