I can't see the two sides working out a deal. I think Reddick hits the open market next year, and I think he's a trade piece come summer if the A's aren't contending.

Do you think it's time for the Mets to trade Plawecki? I don't see how they find AB's for him at the Major League level.

If they really want him to get everyday ABs in the minors, which I can understand, I don't see how they keep him around. d'Arnaud is injury prone, sure, but at a certain point you're just going to be left with two guys that could start on several clubs, with Plawecki ending up out of options. Exploring trades for Plawecki makes sense, as it's clear that d'Arnaud is ahead of him.

Espinosa with Turner hanging out in AAA for awhile. Could do worse than an Espinosa/Drew platoon for a month or more.
