I guess. Neither is going to make much, but Dozier could be a useless signing if the White Sox want Madrigal up sooner than later.
RIP Kobe
6:27
I can't believe this happend.
Connor Byrne
6:27
Nobody can.
Greg Brady loves Wes Parker
6:27
Will Urias begin the season in the starting rotation?
Connor Byrne
6:27
Last I checked, that was the Dodgers' plan
Scott
6:28
What ab Nick Senzel straight up for Danny Duffy?
Connor Byrne
6:28
Not happening from the Reds' perspective
Moose
6:28
Will Mariners sign Taijuan Walker and what kind of contract?
Connor Byrne
6:29
It makes all kinds of sense. GM Jerry Dipoto said the other day the M's were about to sign a pitcher(s), though they did claim Nick Margevicius shortly after. Maybe that's what he meant.

Will the A’s staff come back down to earth enough that the Angels claim at least a wild card this year?
Connor Byrne
6:30
The A's staff has been injury-ravaged two years in a row. If anything, it should get better.

6:32
What is your take on Clint Frazier?  What is his ceiling?  What should the Yankees seek in return for a trade centered around him?
Connor Byrne
6:33
The time to sell high has passed. I could see him being, like, a 115 wRC+/2.0-2.5 WAR type of guy on a fairly regular basis if he gets a lot of playing time.
Kristen
6:33
So what does TEX do now for a big bat?
Connor Byrne
6:34
Arenado, Kris Bryant or bust, I guess. Not much there in free agency now.
Matty K
6:34
Could Eflin and Seranthony/Neris Get me Senzel?
Connor Byrne
6:34
No.

How close do you see the Reds getting into the playoffs this year. I'm a bit worried they are getting better and the Cardinals only seem to want to win the division and make the playoffs then see what happens. Not sure how they can expect to go far with the other contenders getting better by the minute.
Connor Byrne
6:35
I've got them in the 85-win range right now. In that division, that could be enough.

Any news on Ben Zorbrest
Connor Byrne
6:36
You're not the first to ask me about Zobrist. Last I heard, he doesn't know whether to play again.
OCPirate
6:37
The Pirates' payroll is getting embarrassingly low at $48M, putting them around the Orioles and Marlins. Think Cherington is going to sign anyone on a 1-year deal or will the MLBPA start making a case against them again?
Connor Byrne
6:37
Yet another reason I'd like to see a salary floor implemented. I've gotta believe they'll eventually sign someone on a cheap MLB deal.
Ted
6:38
Who in center field now for the Bucs?
Connor Byrne
6:38
Speaking of which ... Kevin Pillar?
Bonner Cyrne
6:38
Would cards make Arenado trade if Carpenter was not under contract ?
Connor Byrne
6:39
They'd probably be more inclined to do so. That Carp deal's kind of a disaster right now, as good as he was before 2019.
Why
6:39
Why won’t the Cardinals front office make the team better? Why such a horrible offseason? Are they a 3rd place team? Maybe 4th place?
Connor Byrne
6:40
I'm undecided on who's going to win the division, but owner Bill DeWitt Jr. indicated last week the Cards are pretty much done spending. Pretty weak offseason if they are indeed finished adding to their roster.
texas heat
6:41
(assuming he qualifies) Michael kopech darkhorse for ROTY?
Connor Byrne
6:41
I expect him to be in the mix if he recovers well from TJ surgery & amasses a solid amount of innings
don keedix
6:42
Do the Yankees need more bench help ala Brock Holt?
Connor Byrne
6:42
I like the idea on paper, but they may want to let Tyler Wade sink or swim in that type of role
Dusek
6:43
Why won't the White Sox get rid of Rodon? He'll never last an entire season without injury.
Connor Byrne
6:43
Because he's good, affordable, and you can never have too many SPs who fit that description. Also, he's coming off a major injury, so they'd be selling ridiculously low.
Games Galore
6:44
Did the Kimbrel contract screw over the Cubs off-season?
Connor Byrne
6:44
It has surely factored into their reluctance to do anything.
Oscar
6:44
Does Shelby Miller bounce back this year?
Connor Byrne
6:45
I'm not betting on it, but no harm in signing him from the Brewers' perspective
Go Purdue go reds
6:45
Reds need to think long term and not just 2020. Wouldnt it be smarter to just keep senzel?
