There's absolutely a chance. I think both sides are motivated to stay together in the two cases, and agent Scott Boras has a good relationship with Nats ownership. That said, re-signing both Rendon and Strasburg's probably going to cost around $400MM, if not higher.

(Rangers GM Jon Daniels) - The winter meetings tend to be splashier than the GM meetings. Either way, I do expect 1-2 big moves from the Rangers this winter as they prepare to open a new stadium.

I believe so on both counts. If not, they could always plug Torres in at SS and LeMahieu in at 2B. They're in a good spot.

I doubt it. Even Brett Anderson said after the season the A's are probably too overloaded w/ starters for him to return.

The Angels have the need, the means, and the fact that Cole's from there certainly doesn't hurt. I think they're the likeliest team to get him, but we'll see how much they're willing to offer.

Nothing AA has done suggests the Braves will give up a pick to sign a FA, so why would anyone expect him to act differently this year?

Not unreasonable in regards to Keuchel. Not sure I'd say Hamels is a "near lock" for Philly, but it would make sense for a team w/ real questions in its rotation.
