Tell me I’m wrong. But I don’t see the Yankees going after a big SP like Cole. They seem hellbent on their farm system and a rotation that would include Tanaka, Paxton, Severino, Garcia, King, Schmidt, Montgomery, etc, is not that terrible and more cost controlled.

GM Matt Klentak said last week the Phils don't want to give up draft picks to sign people, which could rule out the Coles, Strasburgs and MadBums of the world. Guys like Ryu and Hamels still seem realistic.
