At least do something about 2B/3B (depending on where Ramirez goes) and OF. But we'll see what happens with Lindor and Kluber as far as trades go. Hard to predict how they'll fare in 2020 w/out knowing their fates.

Do you find free agent season as frustrating as I do? Why does it take so long for these deals to get done.

To an extent. I want every free agent to get his fair share, which sometimes takes too long or doesn't happen at all. On the other hand, I like that you get months of signings. They all happen too quickly in other leagues, making for a boring few months.

I'll be very surprised if he retires. Rosenthal can still throw heat, and isn't super far removed from being productive in MLB.

Cot's Contracts have the Braves current 2020 payroll commitments at about $87M. They've stayed around $115M to $120M the last few years. They need a catcher, SP and 3B, and maybe an OF. Who, in your opinion, are the best combination of players they can hope for and still come in under $120M?

Probably not. Their owner, Ron Fowler, said after this season he's fed up w/ losing, so GM AJ Preller could be under pressure to right the ship ASAP. He needs to be in win-now mode, I think.
