I didn't expect there to be a chat tonight, but here we are. It's a Festivus miracle!

Do you think the Yankees will pull off a trade for either Lindor or hader?
Connor Byrne
6:05
I still regard the Dodgers as the most realistic Lindor fit, but the Yankees can put in a good bid. Imagine a Cole-Lindor offseason. Evil Empire in full effect. Hader seems to be more realistic, though, if the Brewers are actually willing to move him.

What’s it gonna take to get Seager from Seattle?
Connor Byrne
6:07
(Brewers GM David Stearns) - I'm not convinced Kyle Seager's trade value's is that high, even though multiple reports have said it's up. He's a decent player who has 2/37 coming to him the next couple years AND has a pricey option for the next season that vests if he's traded. Rosenthal said a couple weeks ago Seager or the teams could work something out to mitigate that, but still, it's a lot of $ for a player who's not that great.

Whats the next move by the Redsox?
Connor Byrne
6:08
I continue to await a Jackie Bradley Jr. trade.

Thoughts on Ryu signing
Connor Byrne
6:10
I'd have called it an overpay coming into the offseason, but every FA has seemingly done way better than expected since then. Even if it's too much, I'd rather see teams overpay than sit on their hands. So, I guess kudos to Toronto for trying.

Do you think Gio Urshela is above average defensively?
Connor Byrne
6:10
Yes

6:11
Why do people refer to A. J. Preller as a rockstar GM?
Connor Byrne
6:12
Well, there are a lot of talentless rock bands/stars. Padres GM Preller is in do-or-die mode right now. Either the Padres get markedly better in 2020 or I think he'll be a goner.
Cliff
6:13
Will the Reds get Lindor?
Connor Byrne
6:13
Doubt they can outbid the Dodgers, but it'd be nice to see, as SS is still a weak spot for the Reds

Have you ever eaten Natilla? Its a Colombian pudding eaten during Christmas. It is delicious.
Connor Byrne
6:14
No, but now I want it

6:15
Can you see another big move by the Jays?
Connor Byrne
6:15
I'd have said Encarnacion (is that "big" anymore?), but now it seems as if he'll be going to the White Sox. So ... probably not.
Ken
6:16
Do you believe the Mariners are going to be able to contend by 2021?
Connor Byrne
6:16
2022 seems more realistic to me.

Marte is playing for __________ opening day
Connor Byrne
6:17
Starling Marte? I'll say Mets.

6:17
Now that most of the decent pitchers are off the board, are the brewers done? Or do you see them still making a Donaldson splash or making a trade for an available pitcher
Connor Byrne
6:18
Donaldson's very likely out of the question. I think the biggest question is whether the Brewers will move Hader.
Jacob McDonald
6:18
Do you think the Sox will get Edwin and Castellanos?
Connor Byrne
6:19
I'll say one of the two
AngryScioscFace
6:20
If Jay's pitching stays healthy and Matt Shoemaker fully recovers do you see them as a wildcard team?
Connor Byrne
6:20
Not quite yet, but I like that they're actually making an effort. It's refreshing.
Aaron
6:21
Why can’t baseball work in Florida?
Connor Byrne
6:21
Well, the Marlins had one of the worst owners ever and the Rays are saddled with a stadium that's godawful and allegedly hard to get to (I can't say for sure, as I've never been there)

6:22
Kris Bryant going to get traded?
Connor Byrne
6:23
The grievance decision, which won't come in until 2020, will have some say in that. Whether it's a Bryant trade or a deal involving someone else, I think something big's coming for the Cubs.
Brandon
6:24
Should dodgers just sit till the deadline to see what transpires
Connor Byrne
6:24
I don't think that would be a crazy move on their part, even though it might disgust some impatient fans. The Dodgers are amazing. They don't need much help.
Alex
6:25
Connor what are the Nats going to do for a third baseman?
Connor Byrne
6:25
I continue expect Donaldson to go there
Connor
6:25
Do the Royals sign Alex Gordon to a Minor League deal, let him skip spring training, and play in Omaha for a couple months while they let OHearn, McBroom, Starling, Phillips prove who is the most droppable?
Connor Byrne
6:26
I don't think Gordon's avoiding retirement to play in the minors (and why should he?). Royals or bust.
Teddy

If the braves don’t get josh what do you see them doing?
