Why does everyone expect Lindor to get traded? The Indians were a 93-win team despite their group of aces suffering freak injuries/illness and even though JRam had a brutally slow start, he and Lindor are great players to build a lineup around. Why not move some pitching for offense?

Lindor only has 2 years' control left & won't be signing an extension with Cleveland. That said, your point's well taken. The Indians aren't some sort of joke. They could try to contend for at least the first half of the season, see where they are, and then decide whether to deal Lindor at the deadline.

You mean the one that kept him out for an extremely long time? If memory serves, a torn labrum in his shoulder, which is extremely serious (I'm not looking it up, so someone can correct me if I'm wrong). His next deal will probably be a very cheap MLB pact or a minors contract.
