I think the DL stint pretty much nixes any chance for a deal. They never seemed to show much inclination to trade him. Honestly, that makes sense. They aren't going to rebuild. Why get rid of him and then leave yourself forced to commit multiple years at a similar cost to another player this winter?

I think it has been more like 12 since he has played.

His swing looked herky-jerky to me, but what do I know.

He makes the ball go far.

Best part so far is 30-40 grades on the arm. Ummmm...

Yeah he's one of the most likely guys to move. Perfect guy to add on the last day of August. Wheels, glove. Option someone to make room and then bring them back shortly thereafter.

All but nil at that point. He cleared waivers, but they seemingly want too much. Really, that just suggests they want to keep him b/c they don't want to have to commit more years for a replacement when they like the veteran guy they hve.
