A 12-17 record isn't exactly cause for celebration, but hey, Athletics fans deserve any kind of break.  If the team is playing some fun baseball, that's worth noting.

What do you think the weakest link for the Dodgers? BP or bottom of the lineup?
Mark P
10:04
The weakest link should be that the Dodgers have basically a full staff worth of pitchers on the IL, yet it somehow hasn't really hurt them much.

Is Elijah Green starting to look like a 1st round bust?  Any silver linings for the Nats prospect?
Mark P
10:06
He's 20 years old and had some wrist injuries last year.  Way way too early to view Green as a bust.

where is Max Fried pitching next year?
Mark P
10:06
With some whispers that he'd like to play in his native California, the Dodgers or Giants are logical guesses.

Where do the Brewers go for SP, looks like they need 2 or 3 guys . Also how much longer do they keep Jackson up?

Chourio hasn't looked great, so a temporary move back to the minors might be in everyone's best interest.

As for the starters, some help from the farm is probably coming, but Milwaukee (as expected) isn't likely to make a big pricey splash at the deadline for a more expensive starter.

You buying into PCAs hot start in his second go at the Show here?

Not the biggest sample size in the world, but PCA is a top prospect for a reason.  If it hadn't worked out for Bellinger to re-sign, Crow-Armstrong would've been in the majors on Opening Day

I see fans trying to trade Skubal for hitting help. I'd there a comparable blockbuster to that???
Mark P
10:14
Why in the world would the Tigers trade Skubal when he's showing front-of-the-rotation potential?  Not to say that they shouldn't or won't get another hitter or two, but Skubal looks to be in the "untouchable" category

Time to wrap things up, we went a bit longer than usual due to the breaks caused by the Loperfido news.  Thanks for all the questions, and we'll be back next week (at perhaps a slightly earlier time)
