Welcome. We'll get going soon.

Which relievers are left on the market?
Connor Byrne
6:13
Collin McHugh comes to mind as an interesting arm still out there, though there hasn't been much said about him since injuries cut his 2019 season short.

Will we make any suprise moves? Or just more hopeful bounce back RP?
Connor Byrne
6:14
Seems like a Bryant trade would b the most "surprise" move they could make, as free agency's just about empty, but I'm not betting on it happening.
would be*

Why would the dod want mookie if they have to give up verdugo and have to take price?
Connor Byrne
6:15
Because Betts is an elite player, Price is good (albeit too expensive) and the Dodgers are fed up with falling short in the playoffs. (Not saying Betts and Price would guarantee a title or anything, but they'd improve the team's chances of winning it all.)

Chi Sox best fit for Puig?
Connor Byrne
6:16
Maybe if Puig's willing to work on the short side of a platoon, which I doubt.
Moses
6:16
Puig in RF for Boston?
Connor Byrne
6:17
Speaking of which ... I could see it if they trade Betts and don't get immediate outfield help back.
JR

Is Cole Hammel really a good pick up for Braves besides veteran presence.
Connor Byrne
6:17
Yes. He's still a good starter.

Your win projection for the Philies this season?
Connor Byrne

86?

Your chats are amazing ! Is it worth giving up a 3+ War player in Verdugo with 5 years of control for only 1 year of Betts?
Connor Byrne
6:19
Thank you, Gerard. That would be a lot to give up, but mayb the Dodgers are so tired of falling short that they want to push their chips to the middle of the table on Betts.
*maybe. Something wrong with my "e" key tonight.

was the Will Smith deal an overpay?
Connor Byrne
6:20
Nope. It was totally fair. MLBTR had him at 3/42. He got 3/40.

What's up with Arenado, is he staying in Colorado?
Connor Byrne
6:20
I'm leaning that way. I think he'd be a lot likelier to move if not for the opt-out clause after 2021.

Is Bidirch gone if the Rockies don't do well this year?
Connor Byrne
6:22
(Rockies GM Jeff Bridich) - Before today, I'd have said no, but if owner Dick Monfort actually thinks they're a 94-win type of team, then it probably hurts Bridich's chances of sticking around. They don't look like anything close to a 94-win type of team to me, especially with the Dodgers still great & the D-backs and Padres making improvements in their division.

Who will lead the Nationals in games played at 3B this season?
Connor Byrne
6:23
I'll take Kieboom

Your thoughts on the three riskiest signings of the offseason?  Asking more from a talent/$ perspective, not necessarily because of one year too many on the deal.
Connor Byrne
6:25
As great as they are, Cole and Strasburg are up there. You pay pitchers a combined $569MM, you better hope they stay healthy. Other than that, I guess Rendon or maybe Wheeler, who's had his share of injuries. Kind of a cop-out to name four of the biggest contracts, but it is what it is.

Whos your dark horse team in the NL to win the world series
Connor Byrne
6:26
D-backs and, dare I say, Mets
Angelmound
6:27
Will the Angels at least try to pickup McHugh?  I thought they should have gone after Wood for the same reason.  Hardly any risk, for a proven MLB starter....when healthy.  God knows the Angels will only go as far as the number of good arms they have available.  Hence, this all seems like it should have been a no-brainer.  Thoughts?
Connor Byrne
6:27
If McHugh's healthy, and I don't know if he is, everyone should be trying for him on a low-risk deal
Josh
6:27
No risky contract love for Donaldson at his age?
Connor Byrne
6:27
At his age, he's certainly up there.
J Alex
6:28
If pence signs with SF is to a minor le deal?
Connor Byrne
6:29
Either that or a relatively low-paying MLB deal. He's not going to cost much either way.
GoTribeGo

Does Cleveland make one more move? If so bullpen or outfield?
Connor Byrne
6:30
They were reportedly in on Starling Marte before he went to Arizona, so outfield's a spot they're obviously looking to address. And the best FA left - their former guy, Puig - happens to be an outfielder. Maybe they'll circle back there?
Jon Daniels
6:31
Should I make a major move before spring training?
