Arraez has one of the most fascinating free agency cases of any player ever.  I think the easy answer is maybe something like a $12MM/$13MM average annual value, but who knows how many years teams would be willing to commit to, or what Arraez and his camp feel his asking price should be.
Very hard to break down his market, not to mention the fact that so many teams will obviously prefer power from the 1B spot.

Wynns will be DFA'd.  The Reds aren't going to get one all-timer of a game sway them from what is a pretty common-sense move.

Despite the "they'll have to pay him anyway" factor, Maeda has looked so shaky that I'm not such more outings will help him or the Tigers.

Why is most of the Rangers lineup struggling? The Rangers lineup has the ability to be one of the best. If the Rangers continue to struggle, do you see the Rangers making a hitting coach change?

The Rangers lineup hasn't had much middle ground between players who are off to great starts and players off to brutal starts.  Justin Viele was hired as hitting coach just this past offseason, but I'm not sure you can draw a one-to-one correlation since several Texas hitters struggled last year too

It's funny, I so often see "will the Cards trade Donovan?" posts in these chats, with the idea that St. Louis will be tearing it all down in a rebuild.  But I think this is the first post I've seen suggesting the much more likely scenario that Donovan should or could be one of the first guys the Cards should try and lock up

Won't be until June at the earliest.  The Mets will move him to the 60-day IL at some point. As of a few days ago, Manaea wasn't yet throwing off a mound, so he's got a long way to go in his rehab and ramp-up work
