You know the drill: start asking questions and I'll start answering in a few minutes.

What are the odds I end up getting traded to the Cubs?
Jeffrey Todd
2:06
At this point the Royals are more likely to hold. And I don't love the Cubs as a destination anyway.
(This deal will probably happen now.)

Twins can win this division
Jeffrey Todd

Anything can happen, yes.
But that doesn't seem likely from where I sit. Take a look at some of the pitchers they are running out there right now.

The Rockies' biggest need seems to be some middle bullpen help. What are the best options that look to be available.
Jeffrey Todd
2:09
I still think they should get a significant starter. I realize the rotation has been pretty good, but I guess I'm not all that bullish on that continuing.
2:10
Adding a reliever or two is a given, though, regardless. Lots of possibilities out there so it's hard to pick any for the Rox in particular.

Sources: Trade season is here. Rival execs say Marlins SS Adeiny Hechavarria will be traded in next few days. Miami still shopping offers.
I mean... okay, but hard to see much value there for me.

Esp since he's on theDL

What are the chances the Mets trade Bruce Duda Blevins and Reed as well as finally cut bait with Reyes and Granderson?
Jeffrey Todd
2:13
If they have a sliver of hope at the trade deadline, perhaps they'll hold. But it sure would be nice to try to get something out of those four. All pending FAs of course.
Ultimately, even if the Mets end up as clear sellers, it feels unlikely that all six of those players will end up off the roster by the end of the year though. Just hard to move that many veterans.

Answering in a few minutes? Are you on a coffee break or something?

Just letting people see the link and join the room.
Could use coffee, though. Would you be a dear?

Is this the year LAD should put their chips in and get another ace SP (a 1B to Kershaw's 1A)?

It pains me but I'm ready for the Tigers to sell off. Who goes first - JD or J Wilson? what can they get for them?
Jeffrey Todd
2:17
Think they are clearly in a position to trade those guys and explore deals for a few others.
Hard to guess how it plays out, but JDM is a prime rental bat. Difference maker for a contender. Wilson should draw a strong return as well.

What's your opinion on Dyson's bunt yesterday? Non issue, right?

Yeah. I mean, they won the game, so ...

Where does the Atlanta lineup rank if FF and Adams are in it at the same time
Jeffrey Todd
2:21
Adams is probably a slightly above average bat. And there'll be defensive problems with those corner IFs. So let's keep perspective here. Upside is limited.
Sorry had to run that post up.

Hi Jeff. Big fan of your live chats, follow them every week from the UK. How impressed have you been with the resurgence of Logan Morrison and Corey Dickerson this season for the Rays?! Any explanation as to why the turnaround has been so drastic?
Jeffrey Todd
2:22
Much appreciated!
2:23
LoMo has a big jump in his walk rate, which is nice to see along with the power. He looks like more of an instance of a guy who has instituted some changes.  Dickerson has shown big offensive skill before and just had a tough year.
Regardless,good for Rays, clearly.
2:24
(Long way of saying ... no, I don't really have a lot of insight into why both have turned it on so much in 2017.)

Per Heyman's report about Cueto, does this all but guarantee that the Giant's move him at the deadline?  I can't imagine that the Giants would want to extend him.
Jeffrey Todd
2:25
I didn't see much in the report that wasn't already obvious. Picture remains the same. I still just can't quite figure what kind of deal would be put together to move him, but presumably some org will try. It'd likely have to be a team with a big budget and lots of future payroll space that could take the hit if things go south and he doesn't opt out.

Chances the Astros get DeGrom??  Please say they will!!!
Jeffrey Todd

de Grom is one of the least likely Mets to be traded. I think Houston will be looking for a pitcher of his caliber, though.

Someone will pick up Stephen Vogt right? Blue Jays, Pirates, White Sox all seem like logical fits.
