In a sporting magazines baseball prediction, someone projected the Cubs to come in last in the Central. Do you believe the Central will be that competitive? And the Cubs that bad?

I think it can be that competitive, yes. Now even if every team is a true talent 81-81 team, that doesn't mean they'll end up that way. Tons of variance from a number of quarters. Including the decisions made at the trade deadline.

On the Cubs ... definitely a chance they end up in 5th place. I would guess that's the least likely place they end up, though, since they do have real upside on the roster AND are less likely than perhaps any other team in the division to pack it in at the trade deadline if things aren't working out.

Most at risk: Hahn (White Sox), Preller (Padres), Hill (Marlins), Atkins (Blue Jays), Epstein (Cubs), Klentak (Phillies).

Really, none look particularly at risk based upon reasonably anticipated outcomes for the season to come. It's more that the rest of the league's GMs look very secure almost regardless of what happens.
That group just has perhaps a little more risk of being chopped if things go really really poorly. And Hill is sort of at risk just generally as a Loria holdover.
