I like the idea of starting a runner on first after 10 innings.  More strategy and less luck involved. What do you think?

I prefer this to starting a runner on 2nd, but still, the "automatic runner" is not a winner of an idea in my view

Why should a team like the Red Sox be allowed to dump a multimillion-dollar -per-year player on a minor-league roster just to get around the luxury tax?  They should be fined for that.

It was a loophole in the old CBA that has since been closed.  Castillo still gets paid in full, but since he can't be activated on the 40-man roster without becoming luxury tax-eligible again, he's stuck in the limbo of Triple-A

Time to call it a night, thanks for all the questions!  And a special shoutout to my dad on this Fathers' Day, as he was a major reason I became interested in baseball in the first place (even if I disagree with his constant assertion that players "should bunt more")
