He has too much value on a 25-man roster because of his speed/defense. I think he'll start losing playing time if he doesn't get it going, but I doubt they'll send him to Triple-A anytime soon. At least not in the first month or two of the season.

Shouldn't be a surprise. They had one of the best rotations in baseball last season and it's the same 5 guys. As long as they stay healthy (rotation depth is questionable), they'll be fine.

For the Pads, Perdomo is likely looking headed for AAA. Lamet has the team suspiciously quiet. Lucchesi looks like he's here to stay. With that, who is the next contestant in the rotation? Another prospect or a call to old friend Chris Young?

Erlin is next in line. He looked really good in his relief appearance a few days ago. Works quick. Throws strikes. A lot of weak contact against him.
