Profar has had a nice year, is he insurance against Beltre retiring or do we find him a hime in the offseason?

Even if Beltre signs a 1-year extension, Profar's versatility makes him a perfect fit since he can split time at 3B with Beltre (he's only started 54 games at 3B; 22 at DH) and also play all around the infield. So either way, I think Profar gets 500+ plate appearances with the Rangers in '19.

Hey Jason. It looks like the Rays will utilize Pham, Meadows, and probably Smith in their OF in 2019, which makes Kiermaier expendable. Do you think the Indians will look to make a run at him during the off-season? The Indians have Martin to play center, but Allen hasn't proven himself. Plus, Zimmer looks like he could possibly miss a part of '19.

They have some OF depth, but I don't know if Kiermaier will be the guy to be traded. He hasn't hit this year so his value will be down. Doesn't mean a team won't make a strong offer. But they'd really need to believe in his ability to bounce back.

I think they'll be trying to win in '19. They could be aggressive in free agency and the trade market but Vlad Jr and Bichette aren't going anywhere. Plan for those two to be in the Majors at some point in '19. Need to replace Happ/Estrada (or bring back Happ and Estrada) and rebuild the bullpen.

Do you believe Marco Estrada would transition as a solid 4-5 starter in the National League.  Getting away from AL East and the DH may help!
