Sure, he has a chance. I keep hearing Zavala and Collins mentioned together as being close to helping the MLB team. Only one is currently on the 40-man, though, and that's Zavala. So he would be up next if Welington or James McCann get hurt during the season.

Path looks clear right now as long as Danny Salazar doesn't come into camp at full health. Sounds like they're going to be cautious with him so I don't see that happening. So as of now, it's Kluber, Carrasco, Bauer, Clevinger, Bieber.

Very quiet on the Cubs' front right now. I'm hoping they surprise us with something big soon. Not sure they're a fit for Kluber or Bauer. Not a lot down on the farm right now. Their most interesting trade pieces are on the MLB roster ... Schwarber, Almora or Happ.

Hicks and Reyes in the 8th and 9th? That would almost be no fair for opposing hitters. Possible, but Reyes has too much upside as a starting pitcher. I think he gets every chance possible to stay in that role in '19.

Wouldn't surprise me because it's a great fit. Listening to AA in a few interviews, it's clear that they're limited financially and he's not going to overspend. So Harper-to-Braves rumors will be minimal. But Harper is a guy that ownership could open up their pocketbook for because of his marketing value.

Sounds like they're looking for a stop-gap SS so J.P. Crawford can spend about a month in AAA, which pushes his free agency back a year. So it's possible. But I'm guessing Tulo wants a job that gives him a better chance to be the guy for the entire season.

Too early to determine that. Still 3 years of club control and he mashes LHP. Good 4th OF who can also play 1B/3B. That's assuming he bounces back. Sometimes a change of scenery has a negative effect. We'll see if that was just temporary.

I'll just say he's put himself in the conversation. Indians can move Ramirez to 2B and Kipnis to the OF. I think it's more likely that he'll get his feet wet in '19 as a utility infielder with a chance to win a regular spot by late season.

Givens and Bundy are the two players with value. I'm sure Elias will listen. Givens might have more value in June or July when some playoff hopeful is struggling due to their bullpen.

For 3 years of Duffy? Royals could ask for Tucker and more. Maybe 3 really good prospects not named Tucker or Whitley would get it done. So maybe Corbin Martin, JB Bukauskas and Yordan Alvarez.

I agree that they need a shutdown reliever. Not sure they'd be willing to spend on another bat (Nelson Cruz or EE) and a closer. They should spend on both. But, again, it's not my $$$. I'd probably add the middle-of-order bat and trade from my prospect depth to add a late-inning reliever.
