I think Davis will make the team. Not really a fit there for Napoli and both sides acknowledged this after the signing. He was basically auditioning for other teams.

He just has to be better than Boog Powell, which he is. Probably needs a good month in Triple-A, though. It's amazing that he's back playing already after that injury.

Thoughts on Acuna during Spring Training? Did the Braves make the right move to reassign him or should he have been on the OD roster (they will sign him to an extension before he would have been a FA)

He's going to be a star. Maybe not in 2018, but he will be an impact player. However, I think the Braves can manage with Preston Tucker/Lane Adams in LF for 2 weeks. If not, they probably don't deserve to be mentioned as a playoff contender.

Can't trust most relievers. Dyson at least has the ability to turn things around and being very good. He could be just fine once the season starts and guys who are doing good in Spring Training could get hurt or just pitch bad. Track record is important.

Yes, there is a chance. I don't know if it would come under positive circumstances, though, since Donaldson would likely either be hurt or traded.

Looks like Felix is lineup up with Paxton, Leake and Gonzales to follow. I'd guess Ariel Miranda gets the start whenever they want to use a 5th starter until Erasmo is healthy enough to return.

If he absolutely crushes the ball in the 1st half, I can see him in the Majors after the All-Star break. Probably no rush and early 2019 is more likely, but he's capable of forcing the issue.

Pirela leading the league in .avg and .obp during spring training means I start in AAA, right?  Odds on me starting for the Padres again?  I am guessing they just let me rake the PCL and trade me at the deadline/next winter.
