Notre Dame shouldn't have played either of those teams for all the reasons outlined in your post. Maybe next year or the year after they'll have the pieces and the parts and poise to counter everything they saw against Auburn and Marquette. Maybe then, they'll have that inside presence and a guy like a Ben Hansbrough who can be like #$%$# this stuff, I'm going to get a bucket. There are so many missing pieces right now that asking about Auburn or Marquette or what's coming in the league (Duke, Virginia, Clemson) just sets it up for frustration.
